I'm JD Ingraham, a Quality Engineer and a Quality Bagpiper, and I'm available for hire!As a Quality Engineer for Boeing, I've learned to have extreme attention to detail in all aspects of my life.I started playing bagpipes in the wake of 9/11 with a thought to give back musically like so many pipers did then. Over the years I've become a one of the top amateur players in the Southeast and now lead the Charleston Pipe Band.If you would like to hire me to perform, I can play traditional Scottish and Irish tunes to suit any mood, and can switch the great highland bagpipe out for small pipes that are quieter if need be. If you would like to hire me for educational purposes, I have a long history of teaching Celtic music to people of all ages and experience levels, or I can discuss the instrument, uniform, music, and related traditions in front of a large audience for educational and cultural events. I am also a published composer of pipe music, and can compose a tune for a special occasion.If you would like a bugle performance, I can play several basic hymns and popular patriotic tunes.
