The purpose of forming Quality Education Connection is to provide Chinese international students studying in the United States with opportunities to take credit-bearing summer courses from an accredited American university in order to graduate in a specified four-year period. Many Chinese international students, because of language issues, are only able to take the required minimal number of credit hours when they enroll in American universities their first and second year. Oftentimes, the credit issues cause Chinese students to get behind in their plans to graduate within a four-year period. Failure to graduate within four years causes needless financial issues for these students and is an issue for American universities who emphasize degree completion in a four-year period. The Quality Education Connection's mission is to bring high quality western education to China. QUC aims to promote educational and cultural exchange between China and the world through shared academic, internship, and life experiences in China. QUC wants to create a platform to share and discuss educational experiences and needs between East and the West. This includes leveraging the QUC platform to solve and improve teaching and learning experiences and to help to create better educational environments for Chinese international students and American teaching faculty.
