Your apartment is now your home, your office, your gym, your movie theater, and your restaurant. Social interactions (assuming you're being safe, and we hope you are) consist of facetime/zoom meetings and old friends rising up out of the mists of time to "reconnect"...but actual fun? New experiences and meeting new people? That seems to have been put on pause for the foreseeable future...but, we still want to be social. And while you may be locked up with someone, it's the same someone day in and day out - we're social animals and we need some sort of social contact to stay sane. Enter Quarantini! There are a ton of virtual events happening - some publicized, some not, some interesting, many not - Quarantini curates and creates the best of these events, giving you a single place to find the most interesting stuff happening during quarantine and giving you a chance to play and meet new people. Have an idea for a Quarantini? We want to help interesting people that have a great idea for a virtual event make that idea a reality. Are you a cook? Then maybe you can host a cooking class. Artist? Take us into your studio and show us your works in progress. Musician? Play live music or take requests. Magician? Show up with your online tricks! Fortune teller? Who doesn't want to see a bright future right now. We're open to whatever unique experiences creators dream up (we've had live-action iPhone mazes, potato meditations, internet court, etc)...as long as they're unique and fun. These times really kinda suck - we can make them a little more bearable and fun by sharing our skills with each other, and in the process, make a bunch of new friends. Welcome to Quarantini! :)
