1 in 10 people over the age of 65 in the US are afflicted with some form of dementia. The numbers are projected to get worse as there is still no known cure for Alzheimer's. Both of my parents went through this debilitating disease, so it's personal ! As a technologist, I firmly believe that current advances in IoT, Analytics, and wearable sensors may be used to alleviate some of the suffering.
