Queen West Musicfest Details
The Queen West Musicfest is a charity rock music festival comprised of six independent acts. Four are of the unsigned variety, hailing from, or performing frequently in, the Queen West area. These bands are in search of a record label, and a stage to promote their product on a larger scale than they would otherwise be afforded without powerful promotional backing reserved only for the most popular national/international acts. The Queen West Musicfest also showcases to co-headliners of greater notoriety to serve as the main attraction and audience draw. This summer, The Trews along with Maestro Fresh Wes will fill those roles. The festival is held outdoors in beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park in downtown Toronto, FREE to the public with a temporary stage, beer garden, and local restaurants onsite. Organizers anticipate attendance in 2010 could reach 4000.
