Queen’s Concrete Canoe Design Team Details
The Queen's Concrete Canoe Team (QCCT) is a completely student-run, competitive design team that competes in the annual Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition (CNCCC). Students collaborate in every stage of the project to meet the unique challenge of building a canoe made of concrete. Applying classroom knowledge, and trying some ideas of their own, students are encouraged to think outside the box to create an innovative and ultimately successful solution. Students oversee every step from the design and construction to promotion and sponsorship and, of course, race day. Queen's Engineering graduates are industry leaders and cooperation with the students at the undergraduate level can be an important investment for the future. Queen's Engineering students are motivated and resourceful and strive to make the most of all industry relations
