The Queen's Film Liaison & Industry Committee was ratified in 2012 by founding Co-Chairs Sam Paisley and Zack Teicher with the vision to serve as the premier committee for everything film- and video-related in Commerce. Now, QFLIC continues to raise the standards of student-created media and video content. QFLIC's growth follows three main functions: \\(1) Creating professional-grade promotional videos for ComSoc committees\\(2) Providing filmmaking advice and training for Commerce students\\(3) Acting as the liaising committee between professionals in the entertainment industry and Commerce students looking for unique career experiences and non-traditional career paths
