The Queensland Integrity Commissioner is an independent officer of the Queensland Parliament, and a statutory officer holder, who is responsible for implementing the Integrity Act 2009 (Qld).The functions of the Queensland Integrity Commissioner include:- providing advice to Ministers, MPs, statutory office holders, senior public servants, and others who fall under the Act, about ethics or integrity issues, including conflicts of interest;- maintaining the Queensland Lobbyists Register and monitoring compliance by lobbyists and government with the Act and the Lobbyists Code of Conduct; and- promoting public awareness of the role and integrity more broadly.
