Quinta da Perpita, a group of wine estates, located in the heart of Dão with an area of 7 ha of vineyards. Quinta da Perpita, a farm with family traditions, is a Portuguese wine brand with roots in Oliveira de Barreiros, parish of São João de Lourosa, Viseu. Many years ago, excellent wines were conceived such as: Sete Torres, 1983/84/85 reserve. In 2019, Quinta da Perpita has just launched its first white wine: "Quinta da Perpita ENCRUZADO Branco 2018". In addition to its wines, Quinta da Perpita is known for its archaeological heritage. Like five tapirs (tombs), excavated in the rock, are one of the most heard materials of funeral practices or rituals of burial over the centuries since the High Middle Ages. Quinta da Perpita uses white grape varieties: Encruzado, Cercial, Bical, Arinto and grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz (Aragonês), Tinta Pinheira, Syrah, Alfrocheiro Preto.
