CenturyLink Arena, located in the heart of downtown Boise, is the only place to catch Idaho Steelheads Hockey & Idaho Stampede Basketball. With bowl seating for 5000 people, CenturyLink Arena is also the perfect venue for concerts and special events. CenturyLink Arena hosted it's first event on September 10, 1997, to the Idaho Sneakers World Team Tennis Match. Since that date, CenturyLink Arena has been host to many events including the Special Olympics: 2009 World Winter Games, Lipizzaner Stallions, ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs, Harlem Globetrotters, and numerous concerts.
