Warehousing - Nairobi, Nairobi County, Kenya
Radava is a start-up building the physical and technological infrastructure in the country for structured commodity trading. At the core of our business, is a partnership between the Warehouse Receipt System Council and financial institutions. Together, we work to create the first sustainable commodity exchange market in Kenya. We aim at connecting more than 100 warehouses across the 47 counties to an electronic exchange. Specifically, smallholder farmers bring their yields to our warehouses, we securitize the physical commodities through electronic warehouse receipts. In essence, we digitize these farmers' yields in a way that they can be traded electronically. As a result, we provide actors in the agricultural value chain with efficient access to the market and unlock capital.
