Radio Days is an electo-indie-pop rock band from Holland. They released their debut EP in November 2013 which is filled with a diverse sound based on indie rock and roll guitars, poppy electro beats and new wave synths. The band created some chatter after Coldplay mentioned Radio Days on their website. Word began to spread and soon after they were booked to play three support act gigs in December 2013 and January 2014, in front of over 10,000 people in the Americadome, as support act of Ilse DeLange and other artists.The Dutch Indie-pop band Radio Days has released their new single Higher on October 1st 2016. Following a busy year, where the band received airplay on BBC Radio and the Dutch Radio 1 and became DJ favorite on NPO 3FM, the band has returned with new music. For their new EP, the band went back to the place where they first picked up their instruments when they were kids, in an attic full of antique radio and transmitting equipment. Among the 100 year old radio tubes, antennas, amplifiers and bakelite speakers the band set up their modern synthesizers, guitar amps, drum pads and microphones to write Higher.Influenced by bands like Arcade Fire, Imagine Dragons and acts such as Clean Bandit and Duke Dumont, the Antenna EP is filled with synthesizers, drum beats, ambient guitars and falsetto vocals.
