The goal of the Raider Business Assistance Cooperative is to pair talented and driven students who have lost their coveted summer internship opportunities with small businesses to help economies prosper in the face of disruption caused by Covid-19. The RBAC offers a diverse suite of services to businesses, based on their needs, ranging from marketing and advertising assistance to financial analysis to web/program development and everything in between. Based on their needs, businesses are then paired with dedicated student interns, who will give their time and skills to address business-related projects ranging from developing and improving website platforms to launching advertising campaigns. Interns will allow small businesses to redefine and revamp how they operate and will help these businesses achieve success in an everchanging economic environment. Businesses will be able to harness the next generation of business leaders and innovators, all of whom have chosen to donate their services in lieu of losing summer internships.Additionally, student interns have access to our network of Colgate alumni mentors. These alums have generously donated their time and skills to the RBAC to help student interns flourish. Mentors serve as a learning resource to students eager to learn about specific industries and help interns overcome any problems that seem daunting or impossible. Furthermore, mentors can participate in bi-weekly brown-bag talks, where they share their knowledge and experiences with interested student interns.
