Railcert is a Notified Body within the meaning of Directive 2008/57/EC for assessment, approval and certification of railway systems and products. The accreditation covers all subsystems of the high speed and conventional network, together with the associated interoperability aspects: Command and Control, Rolling stock, Infrastructure and Energy.Railcert B.V. is authorized to fulfill assessments and certification activities as Notified Body and as Designated Body (in Dutch: "keuringsinstantie") by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment) and as Independent Safety Assessor in the field of guided transport systems.
