Nestled in the fringe of rainforest on the Gold Coast hinterland, Queensland, the Rainforest Respite is a tranquil farmstay retreat b&b just 10 minutes drive to the village of Mudgeeraba. Enjoy stepping out of your self contained, ground floor apartment to swim in the pool, breakfast with the Australian wild life (wild birds like the kookabura), meet our pet animals (horses, pigs, goats), collect fresh eggs from our chicken and organic vegetables from our permaculture garden, or hike the trails of Springbrook National Park. Close to restaurants, Boomerang Farm golf course and wedding venue, and Robina Stadium (free shuttle). Broadbeach, Currubin Wildlife sanctuary, Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta, Tallebudgera Creek, Wet'n Wild theme park, a golf course and wedding venue...include but a few of the nearby attractions within 30-minute drive to enrich your weekend or holiday.Additionally, a new optional service has been created at the Rainforest Respite, as of September 2019: Bespoke creative activities are now available in a "short-term accommodation" format, specifically designed for people with a disability and for carer retreats.For instance, we wrapped up a fabulous week with a guest who LOVES Christmas! We have had carols blaring, decorated everything that stood still, visited Christmas locations and hosted a Christmas dinner. Fine motor skills, planning, communication, literacy and numeracy, independent living skills and social&community participation all covered in a week of Christmas themed good times.
