Each month consumers will receive a box of meat from a different small ranch, with stories of the ranch, information about the raising process, and recipes and cooking tips.Americans eat 55lbs of beef a year – or over $100B – but are blind to its source and differentiation. Similarly, the $500B supply chain is failing small ranchers through an over-emphasis on low cost, commodity delivery. The aim of Ranchr is to provide a branded, transparent experience that provides consumers with a better product, and gives ranchers national distribution and improved overall economics.
