Range Life Records was formed in 2005 in Lawrence, Kansas by Zach Hangauer. Our first release was the "S/T" debut from White Flight (Justin Roelofs - formerly of the Anniversary). White Flight was featured in FADER and Spin magazines, on Pitchfork and Stereogum and on NPR. In 2007 Range LIfe signed a distribution deal with Omaha's Saddle Creek Records. We put out Fourth Of July's debut "On the Plains", 1,000,000 Light Years debut EP, and the Dri (Adrianne Verhoeven - formerly of the Anniversary) album "Smoke Rings" and did a showcase at the Knitting Factory during the 2007 CMJ Festival. In 2008 we released Suzannah Johannes' debut EP and had a feature in the Jan/Feb 2008 edition of FADER magazine. In 2010 we put out Say My Name's debut EP, Fourth Of July's sophomore album "Before Our Hearts Explode!", and White Flight's "Children of the Light" and "Panther" singles. Say My Name's first full-length, "Say My Name 2" came out in 2011; Coke Weed X's "S/T" debut in 2012; 1,000,000 Light Years' sophomore EP "Your Spaceship Awaits You, My Love" in 2013; and Hanz Bronze's debut full-length in 2015.
