For over a decade our team has been at the forefront of open source innovation. We have played the roles of content authors, users, community members and leaders. In doing so, we have gained intimate insight into ways that the growth of online STEM content has benefited students as well as the challenges presented by it. We have been in your shoes and this puts us in a unique position to offer WeBWorK hosting services backed by our expertise and our commitment to the open source community. In addition to hosting services, we are hard at work organizing the community to drive content organization and creation in disciplines beyond mathematics. We are sensitive to the technical and systemic hurdles faced by educational content authors and their exploitation whereby content providers charge students for the use of materials that were intended to be freely accessible. Our long-term vision is to leverage blockchain technology to build a better model from the ground up: a new virtual economy for students, educators and content distributors.
