RAW Auto Solutions (RAW = Retail Auction Wholesale) was founded in 2006 to solve automotive inventory management with the evolution of technology on smartphones. RAW was the first smart centric auto inventory management and appraisal tool in the auto industry making its debut at N.A.D.A. in 2007. With the first of its kind VIN scanner RAW was tried and tested bringing the barcode scanning technology to the automotive arena. The founders Nino Parco, Scott Fort, and David Gentry spent over a year perfecting the functionality before splitting the companie technology resources following a private acquisition in early 2008.
