Concepts was started in 1989 by Robert Alan Wolf, AIA, and has long followed a philosophy of focusing on both the aesthetics and the technical aspects of solving design problems. The expert staff prides itself in its ability to access the conditions of existing buildings and the surrounding environment, then create satisfying designs at reasonable cost. Robert Alan Wolf is an award-winning architect with over 30 years of professional experience. He manages design and production teams through every phase of the design process, from inception to completion of construction documents. Utilizing excellent design skills, he has a strong ability to grasp the needs of his clients and translate them into a superb finished product. He is an expert in specialty designs to existing residential and commercial structures, including ADA compliance modifications, seismic upgrades, tenant improvements, remodeling, and additions.Mr. Wolf also offers an in-depth understanding of the entire construction process, utilizing his experience as a Construction Superintendent and Manager. From bidding and budgeting to recruiting and supervising staff to developing and processing plans, he knows what it takes to complete each job on time, on budget, and to the customer's complete satisfaction. Mr. Wolf has received numerous awards from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, a national award from Qualified Remodeler Magazine, and has had his work published. He has also acted as an expert witness in cases involving design and construction defects.
