Our Founder:Richard P Rawald grew up in a lower income family. He and his siblings always had insurance from the state but his parents often did not have any insurance. He saw quickly how health can decay, as his parents would often not seek medical treatment. Between Illnesses and car accidents his father (the bread winner) became disabled. The family income dropped to poverty level, as his father was only receiving disability and his mother did not work. Mr. Richard Rawald worked odd jobs from newspaper rolling (at 13 under the table) to Publix and eventually Geico and Geeksquad. He met the love of his life and knew the money he made would not be enough and joined the Army. After a few years, his now wife was afraid of losing him and the traveling. He got out and started a family but soon could not afford to support them due to his health. Fear of what happened to his father started to overwhelm him, how would he support his family? Next his father got married again and things seemed to be getting better, though he was still financially swimming. His dad moved in to his stepmother's home and then out of the blew she got sick. She developed pancreatic cancer and died a week later. His father's things we still packed. Vowing that no one go through suffering while sick and from what he saw Aflac provide. He began to speak to people about Aflac and insurance. After enough responses from friends and Family about how he helped and what he should do for his future, Mr. Rawald opened R.I.S.E. Now he saves people money, does what he likes (helping people) and supports his family. He continues to make sure all his clients can stay financially afloat during hard times, instead of just his friends
