Rbot9 is a manufacturer of suspended cable robots, operating with a unique and patented formula, able to operate efficiently in oversized environments. Whereas traditional robotics is overwhelmed by the needs of scale and reach, Rbot9 offers a versatile solution, adaptable to any end effector. Rbot9 aims to develop robotics in new spheres thanks to its ability to work in already operating environments (brownfields). The RoCapRbot9 has developed the RoCap, a suspended cable robot capable of accurately transporting an inexpensive robotic arm in a 3D environment. The Rocap enhances the capabilities and functions of the robotic arm by giving it span of movement. A robotic platform suspended by cables is optimal in either of these circumstances:- Move a robotic application in a factory to use it at several workstations.- Expand the reach of a small inexpensive robot to perform operations that normally only a large robot would do.- Automate tasks to be performed in oversized or brownfield-type environments.Main features of the RoCap platform:• Movement in a 3D space up to 35m x 35m x 15m• Coplanar and oriented at all points in space• Includes a collision protection system against humans and objects• Stable and precise• Passive anchors use existing structures• Can withstand the weight of an economical robotic arm and its load (up to 100kg)• Easy to integrate• Use of an under-exploited space: the ceiling• Provides less expensive and more versatile robotic solutions
