The history of our company, RCD – Riva Calzoni Drive, begins in 1986 on the own initiative of two important international producers: TRW, american company leader in mechanic and space engineering field, and Riva Calzoni, historic italian company leader in pneumatic and hydraulic fields.Nowadays, RCD is recognized as an international company, operating all over the world (Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East, America and Australia). Among its customers, there is one that deserves a special mention: Lamborghini. In fact, in the ‘90s our company projected a special aluminium oil tank for steering pumps right for them. After that, in 2004 RCD realized a special valve for autovehicules' lift systems, also in this case right for Lamborghini.Actually, as we said before, there are 2 business units operating in our company: HYDRAULICS and PNEUMATICS.About the HYDRAULICS unit, here we project, produce and commercialize power steering gears, "ram type" steering cylinders and components for industrial, agricultural and special vehicules. Moreover, we patented servo-assisted steering systems for rear axles of trucks and trailers.About the PNEUMATICS unit, here we project and commercialize torque control tools for heavy industries, as well as a wide range of other industrial and professional Japanese tools, (such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills etc.), produced specifically by two companies, NPK and Shinano.
