Established in 2021, the R&D Center consists of two verticals, each of which will develop research and commercial applications in their respective fields, Real Estate (PropTech) and Finance (FinTech): RE5Q Innovation Lab and IOE FinTech Hub. The purpose is to commercialise new research, to create disruptive business models and cutting-edge solutions. The R&D Centers will focus for the first two years on building the required infrastructure, an initial Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, and a qualified team reaching a headcount of 140 employees, over a period of five years.
