RDSLab SrL was founded in 2009 on the initiative of a group of engineers and professionals in the IT sector. It mainly operates in the design, development and sale of IT products and solutions for the processing of telephone and telematic traffic data and for the security of communications and information.Its flagship product is the DRS (Data Retention System) software package for logging and searching for telematic and telephone traffic for the benefit of the investigating authorities, as part of the so-called "Mandatory Services for the Judicial Authority". It is in fact one of the most advanced and "performing" proposals in this context worldwide, so much so that the system can currently boast important references even outside the national territory.Based on the experiences and skills acquired, the company's attention was subsequently directed towards the design and implementation of integrated solutions for the logical and physical security of complex organizational systems, which can range from "Homeland Security" to the internal security of infrastructures and companies.In this area, the company, together with some highly selected industrial and academic partners, is in fact operating in the development of integrated "Data Fusion & Intelligence" solutions, capable of enabling advanced control, interpretation and surveillance functions through acquisition, the analysis and correlation of data from heterogeneous sources.In this regard, the SEMANTIC applied research project, co-funded by Lazio Innova as part of the Aerospace and Safety Program, deserves particular mention. The project aimed to develop a Cyber Security Platform specifically aimed at predictive risk analysis for Critical Infrastructures in contrast to international terrorism.
