Rob Oprel Jr. founded Re-Source in 1994. He started buying up surplus product stocks from factories in the Netherlands. Working closely with a small number of branded goods producers, he set up a sales path outside normal sales channels, to avoid any conflict of interest. This is still done by, for example, maintaining close contact with the client, choosing the way branded products or other goods are put on the market, and by operating a special distribution system.
