ReachOut Plus is a growing & exciting charity that seeks to create opportunities that change people's lives. We work especially with young people & people with disabilities or people with a particular disadvantage. We support these special people to overcome exclusion & discrimination, develop skills, broaden their experiences, have a sense of belonging in the community & above all else help them achieve their full potential We support over 4,000 people every year working with 12 staff & 200 volunteers We provide support & educational services in our own facilities inc our boats & conference centre We offer our facilities to organisations with similar aims. We also rent our boats & venue (Chellington) for corporate or private hire which supports our funding. We work with London Boroughs & schools in urban deprived areas to support young people at risk of exclusion or who have particular disadvantages. At the centre of a six month support programme is a residential week in the countryside to provide them with the opportunity for fun, freedom, reflection, & personal development. We work with young & disabled people in their own homes & communities - wherever we feel we can best help create these opportunities that impact & change peoples lives offering them a brighter future.
