Ready to smell? is an autentic Italian luxury brand of a limited collection of candles, each restoring the olfactive experience of a particular place. Thery are meticulosly researched and manufactured with high-quality raw ingredients, non-toxic paraffin wax, IFRA conformity certificate and fragrances created by master perfumers in Grasse. With an exclusive made-in-Italy white frosted glass holder, labels evoking artistic interiors of old Italian buildings with historical charm, the candles are on sale in hotels boutiques and on the web. They are available in 140 gr size, perfect for sophisticated globetrotters, 380 gr, ideal as an interior design piece, and 700 gr, the largest, with three organic cotton wicks, suggested for bigger rooms and lobbies. The MaR Collection founder and creative director is Mariangela Rossi, lifestyle and travel writer for Elle Italy and other renowned magazines, books author and Scent tours organizer, whose life has always been marked by a passion for the haut de gamme fragrance industry. She chose to give substance to her imagination not only by writing, but with a new narrative capacity in focusing on smell, the most revaluated sense. Born in Genoa with Tuscan roots, Mariangela has many childish memories on the Riviera Ligure, in Portofino and in Lucca, where she maintains a country home in the quiet hills. She lives in Milan with her husband and her daughter.
