With this purpose fixed in our minds, in 2009 we began to build and share our vision for a monthly publication to serve as a platform for promoting Black Consciousness, Group Economics, Strengthening of the Black family; issues of Health & Wellness; the Elevation of Black Women, Youth Achievement, Art, Music, Dance, Fashion, & Fitness. Along with many other topics we intend also to uplift Black History in its totality, ranging from figures like Mansa Musa to Marcus Mosiah Garvey; From the Nubian Queens to Ida B. Wells & Angela Davis; From the Black Panther Party to the Black Lives Matter Movement; from the Era of the Nile Valley to the current ageThis History, Herstory, Ourstory,… must be given priority! As this country gives our people 1 month per year to celebrate our story and our heroes, we will give ourselves 12 Months, 365 days a year to honor ourselves!
