RealityOne (R1) is now pleased to offer 3D Laser Scanning to their Clients. We use The Focus3D which is a high-speed 3D laser scanner for detailed measurement and documentation. 3D laser scanning, also known as Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) uses laser technology to produce incredibly detailed three-dimensional images of complex environments and geometries. These highly concentrated 3D data point images of existing site features are referred to as "point clouds."
