The company was Founded in 1859 in the south of Paris- France, in 1912 Rebière Gelatin expanded to Brazil and in 2008 It ranked sixth in gelatin production for food and pharmaceutical worldwide with revenues of US100 million and capacity of 15,000 tons/ AA, 400 employees and two plants in Amparo, SP and Presidente Epitacio , MG . Both plants with quality programs such as 5S,HACCP,cGMP and ISO 9000 2000. The company sales targets was to export to NAFTA, Europe and LATAM thought the presence of agents in some countries an branches in Germany and the USA.
