We are a group of dedicated Gili Islanders committed to helping rebuild our island home after the recent earthquake. Currently we're all busy carrying out rescue efforts on the ground in Lombok and via our Whatsapp volunteer communities. From supply drops to emergency medical aid to logistical coordination, we're using our donations to directly help our friends and the local people. Once we've looked after them, we'll start putting $ towards rebuilding The Gili Islands and improving the economic health of these islands. We strongly believe getting tourism back to these islands is incredibly important to aid in the recovery of the wider Lombok region. The people of Lombok's livelihoods depend on these islands that have been providing them with jobs and income to feed their families. Their recovery will directly impact countless Lombok villages.
