RECAR PROFILI S.r.l. is one of the leading company in the design and manufacture of high quality PVC and PE extruded profiles for fixing both film and glass covers in greenhouses.RECAR was founded in 1974 in northern Italy, being the first Italian company to manufacture extruded PVC profiles for greenhouses, replacing the formerly used plaster.During the last 40 years, RECAR has been improving and growing. After moving from the old Ligurian site to the new facilities in Piemonte, where it has a 10,000m2 facility, the company kept on innovating and improving its products, which are now sold worldwide. Its 7 high-capacity extrusion lines allow it to manufacture and serve large quantities of product in a short time.The activity of the company, plastic extrusion, is aimed mainly at the production of specific PVC profiles for greenhouse structures, always starting from virgin raw material (WITHOUT USING RECYCLED MATERIAL in any of its production lines). This quality requirement prolongs the useful life of its profiles by between 2 and 5 years more compared to the competition (depending on the intensity of local solar radiation), providing the end user with a lower maintenance cost and therefore enabling more profitability of the greenhouse facility.Currently, the company has a wide variety of PVC profiles for fixing plastic and glass in greenhouses. Recently, RECAR has incorporated PE profile production lines, to be able to adapt to the demands of each customer.
