Red Chariots Technologies Pvt Ltd has come up with a life-saving innovation aimed at making driving on Indian roads safer, easier and happier. The Advanced Driving Technique (ADT), is a simulator built with state-of-the-art technology of Virtual Reality with a motion platform. The simulator is specifically designed to fully equip a person to be an intelligent, safe and sensitive driver. This simulator program runs with the aid of Virtual Reality, which provides a 360° visual experience at any given point. The simulator is built on a motion control platform which controls and duplicates the exact movements of a car. The idea of this simulator arose from the need of the hour—safe roads and safer drivers. The question ‘Why do we need a Simulator to get accustomed to a vehicle or a road?', is clearly answered by the head of this project, the brain behind ADT, DV Vinod Gopal, Director, Red Chariots Technologies Pvt Ltd and Lead Auditor, ISO 39001, Road Traffic Safety— "Because it is dangerous," he says. "Even though we can practice driving slowly on an empty road and then gradually move on to roads with enough traffic, it would be dangerous for your vehicle as well as physically to you if any mishap happens. In this module, we have designed the roads and handling of the cars, just as they are, allowing people to engage in a realistically accurate and highly educative driving experience. This program lays out carefully designed, adaptive modules which refresh and enhance your driving skills."
