Red Cobalt Industries is an independent music label operating out of Tokyo, Japan. The label was born in Melbourne, Australia in early 2004 out of a bedroom and the boot of a car. However, in late 2005, the label moved its operations to Tokyo. Our existence is based on the simple philosophy of producing and distributing records that we love, by artists that we love. This means that we will house music by artists coming from a wide variety of backgrounds, regardless of styling. Whether it's noise, ambient, drone, metal, sludge, punk, hardcore, doom, industrial or rock, our overriding aim is to produce and distribute records by artists possessing an undying devotion to sound and spirit.
