GROW: To promote awareness of a vibrant and high-energy folk dance form called bhangra, originating from Punjab, and to enhance its outreach while giving back to the wider community; using bhangra as a vehicle for supporting heritage within the local community, intercultural sharing and integration, as well as bringing the arts to the underserved.DEVELOP: To encourage involvement and raise the standard of local bhangra through events and competitions such as the RedDot Bhangra Competition; to build a strong member and participation base, audience and support ecosystem, and to promote values like peace, friendship, love and a community spirit through bhangra.EXCEL: To establish Singapore as a prime hub in the Asia Pacific region for the dance form, bringing international representation within the scene to the forefront; by organizing, showcasing and performing the dance form through various platforms as determined by the management committee.Over time, these efforts aim to build a lasting ecosystem for bhangra in Singapore and beyond, leading to the sustained growth of bhangra as an art form, in the form of audiences, participants and financial/in-kind supporters.
