In today's competitive, fast-paced world there is little time to introspect and appreciate life. As the Dalai Lama said, the core purpose of our lives has become all the more elusive and hard to fulfill. The kind of mental stress that we are subjected to, right from early childhood, manifests as physical disorders, and before we realize it, we start to suffer from chronic illnesses, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Our way of coping with these matters has been simple – cure these symptoms through medication!But until the root causes of our issues are resolved, physical symptoms will continue to crop up, in one way or another. Pretty soon, we end up having to sort out issues from excessive medication while the underlying matters still persist. We are aware that the demands of the urban lifestyle are here to stay.
