Along with the affiliate company, REDIN Global Resources, REDIN has built capacity and expertise in planning, design and construction of waste-to-energy, recycling and renewable energy industries in Nigeria. We aim to contribute to Nigeria's energy mix using waste as a fuel to inspire a greener and cleaner environment, ensuring that the next generation isn't deprived of a liveable planet.Our core valve is to reduce as much as possible, the negative effects of poor waste management on our environment and climate.REDIN is pioneering the policy on Recycling of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) in Nigeria to ensure the regulation and enforcement of an environmentally sound and economically viable automotive recycling industry to create jobs, redistribute wealth and recover valuable resourceAs a registered member of the Alliance for Responsible Battery Recycling ARBR, REDIN collects and manages used lead acid batteries as well as lithium ion batteries for sound recycling, in order to protect the environment from the deadly hazards of improper waste battery disposal while being involved in building capacity and knowledge, and creating public awareness on the dangers of improper battery disposal.REDIN is developing strategies and guidelines for the management of C/D Waste in Nigeria. We are currently working with the Nigerian Engineering Council and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) to sensitize the construction industry on the importance of proper C/D waste disposal. .
