A new concept is emerging in warehouse 7 and 8 on The Paper Island in Copenhagen – Copenhagen Street Food - The Paper Island – a colorful food market for the people in the centre of Copenhagen with a view to Copenhagen Operahouse and the Royal Playhouse. Our ambition is to fill the warehouses with all kinds of trailers and food trucks to promote and support the global street food kitchen while focusing on sustainability. Thus, we have created a platform in Copenhagen where the street food chef has the freedom to start up business for little money and to design the food truck and the food her/himself – no matter what kind it is – a burrito truck, a pasta-sleigh or a wagon with hot dogs – the only limit is your imagination!
