In the first year of college we started a club named Forest Club. We believed the only thing required to learn something is passion for something and learning should be FUN. The best part was that the club was unofficial and this led to a lot of controversies as well.In 5 years of Forest Club we saw 443 students getting certified in different fields, 189 students did more than 3 Internships, 97 students spoke languages like Spanish and French, 38 students wrote International Research papers, 7 startups got evolved from Forest Club. This is the data that we could collect. We seniors learned a skill and taught our juniors. Like this we developed more than 63 Courses that you can see in the Courses tab. Students were encouraged to participate in Fests, pursue their hobbies and start what they believed.Meeting happened every Saturday. In order to make students up and going we developed Levels in Learning and mechanisms of bonuses. We had to do this as Forest Club was Free and Levels motivated students to just learn and Experiment. Points were given for every skill, Fests, initiative and anything that brought them out of their comfort zone. What we did for the first five years of Forest Club, we are doing the same with Refresh Button.
