ReGreen Technologies Inc.- Semifinalist at the 'MIT Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Prize 2010'.- Invited to present at the 23rd NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) Industry Growth Forum. (U.S. Department of Energy)- Winners of the 'Greenguard Sustainability Award 2009'Summary: Coal is one of United State's most abundant fuel sources, but is under increasing attack as pollution and carbon emission concerns increase. Our technology will economically allow for up to 25% less coal to be used to produce the same amount of power or heat, thereby allowing existing coal industrial operations and power plants to reduce carbon and pollutant emissions. ReGreen Technologies has developed inexpensive high-efficiency Simulated Moving Bed (SiMB) Heat Regenerator that absorbs and recycles heat at an efficiency > 90% from flue gases leaving coal-fired processes in Iron and Steel industries and in Power generation. We also have developed a Simulated Moving Bed (SiMB) Sorbent Regenerator that reduces emissions from Iron and Steel industries and Coal-fired power plants by absorbing SOX and NOX and other harmful pollutants from flue gases with efficiency > 95% and > 94% respectively, and allows them to be converted into useful byproducts. The two technologies may or may not be coupled together as per the needs of the customer.
