The Mission of the Reid Rizzo Foundation is to remember and honor the character, courage, strength, and vigor of Reid Rizzo. The primary goals of the Reid Rizzo Foundation will be to: 1) Provide financial assistance to those seeking to enhance their primary or secondary educational experience 2) Enhance education, awareness and research relative to medical conditions that affect the cardiovascular system 3) Support athletic organizations wishing to enhance the support structure provided for the athletes they service. In forming the Reid Rizzo Foundation, we are hoping to give back what Reid so graciously gave all of us, HIS HEART, through the various organizations, activities and causes he truly loved and cherished. Company Overview Shortly after Reid's passing, a few of his former friends/coaches at La Salle High School decided to form a committee and hold a baseball tournament in Reid's honor. This idea blossomed into the creation of The Reid Rizzo Foundation. The ground swell of support and love that showered Reid and his memory were beyond comprehension. The Reid Rizzo Foundation will hold annual events such as The Reid Rizzo Baseball Classic and the Reid Rizzo Bowl-a-thon. All proceeds raised from these events will benefit The Reid Rizzo Foundation.
