Many mental health professionals dream of getting their doctorate degree, but struggle with maintaining the demands of work, life, and family while returning to intensive higher education environment. The Reiss-Davis Graduate School is dedicated to removing barriers to quality higher-education, helping more individuals to achieve their educational goals in today's hyper-connected, hyper-speed reality. The Reiss-Davis Graduate School is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). RDGS is approved by the Department of Education as an eligible institution to participate in Federal Student Aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).For over 70 years, Reiss-Davis has specialized in child, adolescent and family diagnostics and psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective along with educational and emotional psychological diagnostic testing. We also provide two-year postgraduate/postdoctoral training programs in both areas – our clinical program for child psychologists and social workers and our pycho-educational fellowship for psychologists.Additionally, we offer continuing education programs for professionals in the community. And, since 2008 we have offered degree-granting graduate education including our highly-accessible PsyD program.Our Psy-D program provides a world-class, psychodynamically-oriented and neurobiologically-informed doctoral program in Psychodynamic Child Psychology and Psychotherapy that prepares clinicians to address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and their families in a culturally competent manner.
