Griffith University's Regional Innovation Data Lab (RIDL) is commited to building and supporting thriving communities. We help our partners and clients unlock the power of data by combining open and sensitive data sources and by using 'place' as the data linking framework. Rooted in the Griffith University ecosystem we leverage on research expertise across all projects to ensure they are executed with scientific rigour. We have identified 4 programs of work which allow us to effectively and efficiently support communities across Australia:1. Equip place-based community orgs with data2. Create data capability within communities3. Advance transdisciplinary research4. Establish and support data collaboratives (reach out if you want to collaborate)A little data can go a long way when it's put into the hands of committed communities. So, whether it's the need for community health services or getting their children's education off to a flying start it's important to turn data into insights enabling communities to drive evidence informed action.
