REMB Tech:A startup founded in January 2014 by Erlend Bjerck and Robin Madsen located on the west coast of Norway. We are currently developing a new product for the shipyard industry called Keel Block System and Auto Block Guiding.Product description:Blocks have to be placed on a dock floor before a ship can enter a dry dock. These blocks have to be placed accurately according to a docking plan, to ensure the ship is not damaged. This takes time.To simplify this process, REMB Tech has designed a Laser system, that from the docking plan plots out where to place the block, thereby makes the whole process faster and more accurate.Product advantages: - Eliminate manual marking for block positioning- Manhour cost reduction- Reduced time for preparation of dock leads to higher docking capacity- Accurate blocking reduced chance for incidentsCompany strategy:We have a lean strategy in mind when cooperating with potential customers during the product development. This makes it easyer for us to spread the development costs at the most pressing issues towards a minimum viable product, and always with this qoute in mind: "Everything must be made as simple as possible. But not simpler". Our prototype is up and running tests at a shipyard and a potential customer, Westcon Yard Florø.
