We make upcycled clothing and apparel for travelers. Our goal is to reduce the textile waste and reduce the excess of resources used, while at the same time to provide jobs in marginal areas around Ecuador!We live in a time ruled by consumerism where cheaper products are valued over the well-being of the people who manufacture them. Remu challenges the mainstream fashion industry where "more is better" and proposes that "better is better." To do this, Remu makes products from upcycled, high-quality fabrics, that could have otherwise become unnecessary waste. At the same time, Remu provides fair-paying jobs in marginal areas around Ecuador, empowering the women who skillfully handcraft our products. All of these efforts go towards creating products that enhance travelers' experiences when exploring the world!
