Founded in Melbourne in 2014, R E M U S E, is a one of a kind and limited edition, transseasonal collection of designs created with natural and vegan fabrics, hand dyed and constructed entirely by New Yorker Tamara Leacock in her studio now in Balaclava. R E M U S E is inspired by narratives of the earth, solar system and Afro-futurist aesthetics; releasing a micro collection on each World Solstice and World Equinox. R E M U S E creates with the environment and future generations in mind, dyeing with thoughtfully considered dyes, using organic, reclaimed or unbleached fabrics, and producing collections entirely in-house to limit quantities and closely monitor the ethical production of the garment from conception to completion.
