OUR GOAL is to rapidly build up national on-going representative COVID-19 seroprevalence monitoring as a service by commercializing the processes developed in our recent study with Ochsner. We believe that a likely second wave is not fully accounted for in many current policy decisions. Contact tracing is now being widely adopted. If there is a second wave, our monitoring solution solves real problems around prevalence quickly leading to better awareness for urban leaders and mitigating harm in real-time. We view representative COVID-19 monitoring as complementary to contact tracing and existing free testing programs, particularly during times of extended outbreak in densely populated areas.Cities have experienced many of the most acute Covid-19 problems, but the CARES Act funding is flowing through the offices of state governors. Without going through the states, we are constantly going to be fighting an uphill battle. Because of this, some states which are skeptical of a second wave are unlikely to invest in this product and service until they see it in real-time and there is demand from the population for greater visibility around COVID-19.
