CPAN is a grassroots network, improving the lives of local children living in poverty in Renfrew County. We believe that all children and youth deserve a decent chance in life, and that no child should be left behind. We work using a 3 pronged approach:PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE: We provide the communities of Renfrew County the following programs, at the present time: - Tools for School (http://renfrewcountycpan.ca/tools-for-school/) - Operation Snowsuit (http://renfrewcountycpan.ca/operation-snowsuit/) - School Inclusion Project (http://renfrewcountycpan.ca/school-inclusion/) - Harmony for Renfrew County (http://renfrewcountycpan.ca/harmony-for-renfrew-county/) - Good EGG (Good Edible Grassroots Gardens) (http://renfrewcountycpan.ca/good-egg/) - Administer Jumpstart ... and we have small pockets of funding to help with emergency medical and vision care. EDUCATION: Using creative tools to teach others about why people end up in poverty and how we can all help in our own way.ADVOCACY: We advocate for systemic change at all levels of government, we also advocate for services and items.
