I am the newly elected Representative for Georgia State House District 52. Of all the things I've ever aspired to be in my life, a politician was not one of them. An attorney, a mother, a successful business owner? I wanted to be all of these. And by the grace of God and some hard work, I am. But our community needs someone who is experienced in finding common ground for progress. Someone who has spent nearly every day for the last two decades as a land use attorney interpreting and applying legislation. Someone who has successfully helped our families and small businesses lobby their local leaders for change. Someone who is ready to inject integrity and pragmatism into politics. The solution? Effective, sensible policy making. The charge? Defeat legislation that's harmful to our progress as a state. My promise?
